She's finally here!

It took a long time, but Audrey Rinna joined our family on August 23, 2006 at 2:41 am. She is 18 3/4 inches long and weighs 7 pounds, 6.4 ounces, Close to a full pound smaller than we were anticipating. Yeah for mom! The morning I was induced, Simon brought the most beautiful arrangement of flowers for me. It was nice to look at them all day. But then after Audrey came, the next set of flowers came. This bouquet was enormous and that much more beautiful! Every nurse, doctor and tech that came to my room talked a good 5 minutes about how beautiful the flowers were and how special Simon must be for doing something so nice. Nothing I didn't know already. Simon certainly knows how to make an exhausted new mommy feel special. They induced me at 7:30 Tuesday morning, so it was a long, long day, but extremely well worth it. We think she's the most beautiful thing ever! So now what everyone really wants... pictures. I'll definitely be adding more. Hopefully somewhere between sleeping, eating, pooping and peeing we'll get some open eye shots.
