9 months already???

Well, I'm not sure where the time has gone, but our baby girl is now 9 months old. Audrey had her check up the other day and is a whopping 23.6 pounds and 31 inches. She is a perfectly average height and weight... for a 15 month old child. Either way, Audrey is healthy and happy. She has two bottom teeth and is working on one of her top ones. I keep talking about how we're in trouble, but I swear it's true. Audrey LOVES to climb our stairs. Her first attempt (a very successful one) was done with a doll in one hand. She a very determined young girl. And talk about strong. One of the ladies at day care always talks about how strong Audrey is. The other day she was standing in her crib grabbing a rocking chair. When one of the ladies in the room went to move the chair, unbeknownst to her, she was dragging the chair, Audrey and her crib! Audrey had such a grip on the crib she was getting a free ride! Simon and I always tease that she's going off to work each day she leaves the house. (It is a lot of work to play all day.) Now there is talk of her getting a promotion. In other words, moving to the next class. She is so mobile and strong she will literally run over anything (and any child) that is in her way. Not too safe for the really young babies, so the day care plans out who can play on the floor and when.
